Cook Elected 2nd Chairman of Alpha Greenville Foundation

Greenville, South Carolina - Alpha Phi Alpha Greenville Foundation is proud to announce the results of the Officer elections. Mr. Allen Cook has been elected the second Chairman of the Foundation. Allen was named at the June 20, 2020 Board Meeting via Zoom and has been the Martin Luther King, Jr. Program Chair for the last two years 2019 & 2020. Allen succeeds in the Foundation's first Chairman, Keith Barksdale has been chairman since 2012, which is the initial year for the Foundation. Barksdale will remain on the board as Board member and Chairman emeritus.

In other board news, Mr. Jimmy Durante was confirmed as Treasurer for another year and two new Board Members were added, Sheldon Early and Ricky Pulley. Sheldon Early has been the Chair of the Foundation's Charity Golf Outing for the last two years and Ricky Pulley has been a member of the Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter for more than five years.
